The shape of the house is a result of an adjustment to the terrain in order to use to the maximum the favourable aspects of the plot. The house is formed on the ridge in the central part of the plot, around two natural depressions on the north-east and south-west side, around which the wings of the building wrap. A steep terrain rimming the north-east part of the plot forms with the house an intimate space, while the building in the south-west opens up to the public space of the park which touches the plot. The public park becomes an integral part of the ambience of the plot and the park of the nursing home residents becomes a part of the public space. Such spatial composition ensures a clear differentiation between public and private and natural circulation among the functional elements in the plot, both external and internal, as well as their contacts with a broader context.
